Many of you reading my blog have already heard about the "We the People Rally" It is as simple as its name ...WE The People. Our country was founded on the principle of limited government that answers to the people. As of late we have found that our government does not consider itself accountable to us. They government has grown to a monstrous size and is feeding upon itself. The people we have elected to represent us do little other than represent their own special interests. I, for one, have spent countless hours calling, visiting and emailing our representatives only to be ignored. I know many of you have done the same and are experiencing the same frustrations.
We the People need to unite into a single LOUD voice. On April 15 at the Florida state Capitol, we will gather and make our voices heard. Hundreds of other groups will be gathering all across the country for the same reason. Join with us as we tell our government in a loud, unified voice, "No More!"
Make sure you visit the "We the People" website and sign the petition calling on our state legislature to solidify the resolve of the 10th Amendment by protecting our rights as Floridians. More information about the event will follow as speakers and musicians are lined up.
Sounds interesting! I think it's great that the citizens of Florida have this opportunity to stand up and voice.... now if only they will listen.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that no one seems to be listening. We marched on DC with numbers in excess of 1.5 million and they aren't getting the message.
